So refreshing to hear from others of the collective latchkey experience, not alone even when we were at home. This little book is an infinite constellation of my latchkey childhood! I love the idea of a Township of related experiences, together alone. One time I screen printed a map I made of my Latchkey childhood. From school, to library, skip to the sub shop for square pizza slices and Galaga, and then to the candy store for Garbage Pail Kids, then back to the library, but then back home, not having done homework. This book is wonderful phone call back in time, letting younger me know there is a whole bunch of us out there in the Township, don't freak out. Thumbs up!

I absolutely loved this collection of wise, funny, and moving tales of GenX youth, and I even bought an extra copy for a fellow feral-childhood friend. Saltines & ginger ale 4eva!
